Notre Dame Recruiting Stock Report

April 2, 2012--

Notre Dame stands to land a few more prospects before the Spring is up. But, which prospects do they stand to land and which ships have sailed? Irish Sports News takes a look at a few prospects (Ryan Green, Jaylon Smith, Ty Issac, Devin Butler and Laquon Treadwell) and where they stand with Notre Dame.

Ryan Green
Different internet reports surfaced today that Ryan Green would commit to Notre Dame in the immediate future. It is unclear whether these reports are true or just conjecture. Green has maintained throughout his recruitment that he would take his time to make the right decision because de-committing was not showing he wanted to do. The distance is still a major factor.

Devin Butler
Devin Butler is expected to make his college choice known on Wednesday. The announcement comes after he visited Notre Dame over the weekend. Butler is expected to select Notre Dame when he make his college choice on Wednesday.

Ty Issac
Ty Issac and Notre Dame do not seem to fit together. Issac believes that he needs a pro-style offensive to succeed. Notre Dame believes Ryan Green is the best Running Back for their offense. Michigan appears to be the leader here.

Jaylon Smith
Jaylon Smith will visit Notre Dame for the Blue-Gold Game. Notre Dame is considered to be the leader but closely battling Ohio State. Notre Dame could land Smith at the Blue-Gold game. That would be a huge pick up for the defense.

Laquon Treadwell
The top wide-receiver from the midwest Laquon Treadwell is considered a Michigan lean. However, Brian Kelly has done a good job at attempting to show Treadwell that he is a priority. Treadwell is also visiting for the Blue-Gold game.
