Washington High School football player David Perkins is expected to commit to Notre Dame according to WSBT. David Perkins is scheduled to make his decision Tuesday morning at 11:20 a.m.
Notre Dame extended a scholarship offer to Perkins last week. Perkins then set the announcement stating that he was selecting between Syracuse, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Notre Dame and Michigan State in that order.
However, it now appears Perkins will select Notre Dame.
Perkins is ranked #27 OLB and #255 overall in Scout.com rankings of the 2012 prospects.
Perkins has received offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Iowa, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Oregon, Purdue, Syracuse and Tennessee among others.
