Deontay Greenberry, Tee Shepard's cousin, has committed to Notre Dame. Many surrounding the Notre Dame program had thought that it was only a matter of time until the Wide Receiver prospect pulled the trigger. This was based on Greenberry's and Shepard's desire to play together in college.
Greenberry is ranked #115 Overall (4-Star) by Rivals.com and #34 Wide Receiver (4-Star) by Scout.com. He received offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Boise State, California, UCLA, UNLV, Washington and Washington State.
Greenberry is 6'3" 187 lbs. and runs a 4.4 second 40-yard dash. He recently stood out at the Stanford NIKE Football Training Camp in Palo Alto, California.
Greenberry does plan on taking all of his visits.
