Notre Dame fans were pleased when Ronald Darby, track and football star, committed following the Spring Game in April. Immediately, Darby seemed to become one of Notre Dame's best recruiters like many commits had in the past.
However, lately, Darby has been subject to a lot of speculation. Since his commitment, Darby has made visits to North Carolina, Auburn and Clemson.
Notre Dame obviously is not happy with the visits but has been understanding. Darby did not take many visits before his early commitment.
Darby's Head Coach Ronnie Crump has been behind the commitment and has been pushing Darby to sticking to his word.
