Troy Niklas, 19th ranked TE according to ESPN, visited Notre Dame this weekend. Kelly and his staff hope to add Niklas to the 2011 class making him the 23rd member of this class. According to several media reports, Niklas is being recruited to play DE where Notre Dame already has several signees and commitments. According to reports earlier this week, it has come down to USC and Notre Dame for his services.
