"Smith is the Monroe Area High School teammate of four-star defensive end Stephon Tuitt. Tuitt is currently committed to Notre Dame but decided to visit Tech this weekend after his basketball game was canceled. Tuitt could not immediately reached for comment.“I don’t know what he’s going to do,” Smith said. “I didn’t get any kind of answer from him. As soon as I saw him I started teasing him and saying, ‘you gonna come with me?’ I know he’s feeling pressure both ways.”

"Georgia Tech's recruitment of four-star defensive end Stephon Tuitt has been the biggest storyline for the 2011 recruiting class. Once considered a Tech lock, Tuitt committed to Notre Dame during his official visit in November, but the Jackets have the last crack and are making a strong push for the talented end. Will he flip?"

“Demon” Smith is a hometown friend of Stephon Tuitt, one of Tech’s prime targets and a current Notre Dame Fighting Irish commit who was scheduled to visit the Flats over the weekend.

The information that is available is limited. Tuitt is obviously thinking it over, which mean that he is seriously considering Georgia Tech to some extent. I would have to think that Lynch's commitment plays into his decision in some way. Either, he sees Lynch's commitment as a possibly to play along side another great player or he views it as not being the top guy. More information could come soon! Irish Sports News will stay on top of the situation.
