Not Going The Extra Miles

This weekend, Inside Linebacker Schlyer Miles visited Notre Dame for the first time. He did so without an offer. He also left without an offer. Miles was assured that an offer was coming soon. It seems that Notre Dame is slow playing the Inside Linebacker who recently received an offer from SEC powerhouse Florida.  The only explanation, like that of San Diego Tight End Taylor McNamara, is that Notre Dame believes that only have a few spots to fill and that they are holding them open for a few select players while reserving other spots for key fifth year players such as Braxton Cave and Kapron Lewis-Moore. Miles, according to many outlets, enjoyed his visit. Notre Dame seems to be in contention for his services but they can't officially be there until they offer him a scholarship. They should do it before it's too late. If it's okay for Florida, it's probably okay for Notre Dame.
