Following his visit to Notre Dame during the Blue-Gold game, Florida Wide Receiver Justin Ferguson moved up his college announcement to this Monday, May 2nd. Justin Ferguson will choose between Florida State, Florida, Florida International, Notre Dame, Central Florida and Wisconsin. The top two schools are believed to be Notre Dame and Florida.
To Notre Dame fans, the fact that Ferguson moved his announcement up following his visit to Notre Dame means that he will select Irish on May 2nd. The ability to play early at either Florida or Notre Dame is a big attraction for Ferguson. Notre Dame definitely has a glaring need for receivers with only a few players and very limited in the playmakers.
The 6'2'' 205 pound Wide Receiver from Flanagan High School in Florida caught 44 passes for 943 yards and 12 touchdowns as a Junior. He lead his team to a 7-4 season and received All-County Honor from the Sun Sentinel.
Irish Sport News thinks it is very likely that he is the 6th commitment for Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame coaching staff. All the evidence points to this conclusion.
