Savon Huggins will announce tomorrow between Rutgers, North Carolina and Notre Dame. Rutgers has been believed to be the leader. On the Thursday edition of Rivals.com radio Bill King stated that he believed Huggins will select Rutgers. This was echoed in a Sporting News article that indications pointed that Huggins would select his "hometown school". At the beginning of his recruitment, Huggins stated that Rutgers would be a finalist for his services regardless of the outcome of the recruiting. There has been a lot of speculation about North Carolina because of possible NCAA sanctions regarding the team's involvement with agents early in the year. Butch Davis and North Carolina have claimed that nothing major will occur because of the infractions. USC took a similar stance and then was hit by a post-season ban and scholarship reductions. Notre Dame has recently been on a recruiting streak, which leads many Irish fans to believe that Notre Dame has a chance. The biggest problem facing Notre Dame currently is the offensive system that they run. Huggins apparently wants to have a fullback in front of him in college. Huggins makes his decision tomorrow at 5 p.m.
